Abolish corridor care, nursing conference demands

Nurses have stepped up a campaign to highlight the perils of corridor care in emergency departments, calling for its “complete” abolition.

The profession yesterday voted for strong action after emergency department specialists spoke of widespread “moral injury” from having to care for seriously ill patients waiting on trolleys.
