Addenbrooke’s launches advanced AI MRI scanner

Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge has unveiled an advanced MRI scanner that uses artificial intelligence to improve image quality.

The 3.0 tesla magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner uses AI technology to reconstruct patient images and has twice the strength of the 11-year-old scanner it replaces, the hospital said.
