Primary and secondary care doctors are being told to expect shortages of ADHD medications for their patients to continue until the spring, adding further pressure to their workloads.
Over the last 3 months, some doctors have had to swap patients onto replacement drugs, which they said has caused a “huge workload issue”. And doctors in other areas have told us they are unable to do this, citing improper shared care procedures.
