Alarm as GMC reform points to removal of health concerns

Proposed reforms of the General Medical Council could increase the pressure on doctors with health problems, the regulator has warned.

The GMC yesterday was backed by the Medical Defence Union in objecting to the removal of health as a grounds for inquiry.
