Artery visualisation tool developed

New technology to give an improved picture of a patient’s arteries can help tailor heart disease treatment more appropriately, a conference has heard.

A team led by Dr Hazel Haley of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, UK, developed the technology to provide a 3D visualisation of the heart and its blood flow.
