‘Cruel’ tax hikes will see majority of GP practices making cuts – BMA

Early indications suggest a majority of GP practices will need to make staff cuts to remain viable because of planned tax rises, the British Medical Association has warned.

In a letter to the health secretary, the chair of the BMA GP committee England also warns that some practices will be forced to close.
