Dennis the Menace to help ease children’s worries about surgery

An online edition of the classic children’s comic, Beano, is to help ease children’s fears if they are to undergo surgery.

Developed with the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland, Dennis has an anaesthetic is aimed at children from the ages of seven to 11 and follows Dennis the Menace as he prepares to have his tonsils removed, from diagnosis to discharge from hospital.
