Doctor group challenging GMC over associate regulation aims to raise £500k

A doctor campaign group has taken the first step in its attempt to bring a legal case against the General Medical Council over the regulation of anaesthesia and physician associates.

Anaesthetists United has sent a ‘letter before action’ [PDF] to the GMC, claiming the regulator is acting “unlawfully” in how it plans to regulate AAs and PAs.
