Guidance gives ‘greater clarity’ on career progression and supervision for AAs

Doctors are being asked to comment on a new scope of practice for anaesthesia associates (AAs), which gives “clarity around the role of AAs post-qualification" and sets out "clearly defined supervision levels".

All eligible members of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) should have received information on the consultation by Wednesday 25 September.
