Multi-cancer early detection tests, to find multiple cancers with a single biological sample, will be used by GPs in the near future according to a prominent GP from Exeter.
Richard Neal, who is also a professor of primary care at the University of Exeter, told the Royal College of General Practitioners annual conference that: "Screening improves cancer outcomes but we only have four cancer specific screening programmes in the UK.
