New chair of BMA Northern Ireland GPC announced

Dr Frances O’Hagan has been named as the new chair of the Northern Ireland General Practitioners Committee following an election, the British Medical Association said.

Dr O’Hagan has been deputy to Dr Alan Stout for the past 6 years. She is the first woman to take up the role, which she said was "something of an honour".
