NHS near 'tipping point' as trainees begin fifth strike

New doctors, who only started working for the NHS in the last fortnight, will be taking part in today’s pay strike in large numbers, says the British Medical Association.

The four day strike in England, beginning at 07:00 BST, is the first time new foundation doctors have been able to take part in the pay dispute.
