Northern Irish GP contract negotiations ‘cannot move forward’

GP contract negotiations in Northern Ireland have stalled as the BMA says it cannot move forward without a “firm commitment” for additional core funding from the Department of Health.

Doctors across Northern Ireland will now be asked to vote in a referendum on whether they would accept or reject the proposals from the department as they currently stand.
