Study examines best skull technique for subdural haemorrhage surgery

Surgeons have studied two different approaches to brain surgery for subdural haemorrhage have similar outcomes, a study has found.

A team led by Professor Peter Hutchinson at Cambridge University, UK, compared outcomes for craniotomy and decompressive craniectomy and opt for craniotomy as the most effective treatment.
