Tabloid overvalues BMA leader’s home in strike backlash

Doctors have leapt to the defence of the head of the British Medical Association after a tabloid newspaper featured his Welsh home – trebling its value.

The Sun accused BMA chair Professor Philip Banfield of living in a “£1.4 million countryside mansion”, describing him as a “militant doctors’ union boss.”
